FAQ HIKING TOUR đŸ„Ÿ

Here are the most common questions guests ask about the hiking tour. If your question isn’t listed here, feel free to reach out, we’re happy to help!

1. Where is the exact meeting point?

We will meet outside Exit 8 of Dongdaemun Station (ë™ëŒ€ëŹžì—).
Please note: This is not Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, so be careful not to mix them up!

2. Will the tour still happen if it rains?

Yes, the tour will still go on even if it rains lightly. The slope is not slippery, and we’ll spend most of the time indoors after the hike. However, in case of heavy rain, we may cancel the tour for safety reasons. If so, we’ll notify you at least 1 hour in advance, and you’ll receive a full refund. (Weather in Korea can be unpredictable!)

3. Is this an intense hike?

Not at all! The hill is about 150 meters high, and the hike to the top takes less than 30 minutes.

That said, there are a few steep sections and stairs, so it might be a bit challenging for seniors or those with limited mobility.

4. How many people join the tour?

We keep the group small and personal, usually between 4 to 10 participants, so everyone can enjoy and connect.

5. Is there a vegetarian meal option?

Yes! We’ll enjoy a Korean home-style meal at a local restaurant. One of the highlights is the vegetable-only Korean pancake (jeon), it’s delicious and fully vegetarian :)

6. What should I wear or bring?

No need for hiking boots, just wear comfortable shoes that are easy to walk in.
Check the weather forecast before you come:

  • In winter, dress warmly with layers.
  • In summer, don’t forget sunscreen and maybe a hat.

7. Is the tour suitable for young children or strollers?

This tour is not recommended for very young children, as there are steep stairs and uneven paths.
Please note: Strollers are not suitable for the hiking portion of the tour.

8. What if I’m running late?

Please try to arrive on time, we usually wait up to 10 minutes before starting the hike. If you're running late, contact us as soon as possible!
